Creating unbreakable bonds and the highest possible rideability.
"A Journey of Trust” Following The Principal of Horsemanship.
At our small acreage in the Central Tablelands, we offer a haven for both horses and nervous riders alike. This haven has become the sanctuary for horsemanship instructors, Kim Wilde and Dianne Luker , whose approach is as gentle as a breeze and as solid as the roots of an oak tree.
Our passion for horses is not merely a profession; it is a calling, a journey of understanding and trust. We believe in the magic that happens when humans and horses communicate without fear or force, guided by a language greater than words.
In our lessons, we emphasize a principle that sets us apart from the traditional ways of working with horses – no punishment, no force. Instead, we embrace a philosophy of collaboration, where the riders and their equine companions work together towards a common goal, weaving a tapestry of trust and respect.
Our horsemanship lessons begin with each rider feeling a flutter of nervous excitement. Many clients have previously experienced anxiety and fear around horses, this leads to a strained relationship between rider and steed. Understandable really, when people realize that horses suffer anxiety as well. Under our gentle guidance, a transformation will soon unfold as a mutual bond forms between Horse and rider.
Our lessons are a delicate dance between horse and rider, where the riders learn to observe the silent language of their equine partners. The arena becomes a canvas for developing cues, interpreting body language, and fostering a connection that transcends the reins.
No aggression is required, only the whispers and rubs of encouragement are seen. As the bond deepens between horse and rider, the choices taken by the horse become more obvious, demonstrating a willingness and trust. The nervous rider transforms into a confident partner, and the once-mistrusted horse finds solace in the gentle hands that guide him.
